Reminder – ESA Meeting In DC January 20th.


One ESA bill has been introduced in the Senate already.  Another is expected soon.

Please come to a special meeting to discuss the ESA.  

As you probably know, there was a good deal of controversy among our ranks last year about the ESA.

Friday, January 20th offers a chance for us to get together to thrash out our concerns, discuss differences, and prepare as much as possible for the ESA issue in Congress.  

The meeting will be fore 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM Friday, January 20th.

The location will be the Best Western Pentagon at 2480 S. Glebe Rd, Arlington Virginia 22206.   

It is important that you confirm as soon as possible if you can come.  We will be keeping a list of those who confirmed at the door.  Only those on the list will be allowed in.  

Please write “I’m coming to the ESA meeting” in the subject line.  Please tell us if you are not coming by writing “No, I’m not coming to the ESA meeting.”

The hotel is right at exit 7 on I-395.  A very quick cab ride from Capitol Hill.

Reminder—Do not forward this e-mail to anyone.  Neither this meeting or anything about it should be discussed outside the group.  These are not my rules.  We set them up as a group a long time ago.

If you wish to nominate someone else to participate, pass his or her name along.  We’ll go through the normal vetting process.
