Folks, You called the VA House and got them to pass 2 big Eminent Domain bills, HB 1820 and HB 1821. Now please call again to stop the Senate sellout to the big power companies and the VDOT. Tuesday, Feb 15, the Senate Sub-Committee on Courts of Justice gutted the bills on a 3-2 vote, before sending them to the Full Committee. Small wonder, given that Dominion Power bought Senators Stolle and Normant with contributions of $19,000 and $11,500 to their last campaign. *****The Full Committee can overturn this vote against property rights. It meets on Monday, February 21, at 8:00 a.m. to vote on the Eminent Domain House Bills 1820 and 1821. Call these members of the Senate Full Committee on Courts of Justice NOW. Deluge them with calls. Get everyone you know to call. Ask them to overrule the Subcommittee and vote for the original bills just the way they were voted by the House. Tell them: Dont Sell Out Our Homes and Farms to Big Power -- Vote for HB 1820 and HB 1821. Call at least five friends and neighbors and get them to call.
